When they handed me a taxicab computer monitor, I expected
my title to be changed to The Dispatcher. After all, I coordinate
multitudes of projects, sending each on the road to its destination,
overseeing its progress as it speeds toward completion. Sometimes
it really does feel like I’m keeping track of a hundred taxicabs.

Like a dispatcher, my job is always busy. I’m involved in everything
from client meetings, to purchasing printing, to working with our talented
creative team, and more. I have deadlines to meet every day – and I love
the challenge. I graduated with a degree in journalism from Bradley
University in Peoria, Ill. I met my husband in college and we now have
two teenagers. The oldest just earned her driver's license and, the way
she drives, I think she'll soon rival the best taxi drivers around.
Good thing her mother is The Dispatcher.
